Begin your full day Cappadocia RED tour with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, and get ready to be picked up at 9:45 am. Your professional tour guide and driver will accompany you as you visit the historic sites in Cappadocia.

Your first stop will be Devrent Valley, also known as “Imagination Valley,” due to its surreal-looking landscape. From there, head to Pashabagi, also known as the Monks Valley. This area is home to three-headed pinnacles that are symbolic of the Holy Trinity and served as the location for Christian hermits to establish hermit cells and churches. You can witness all stages of the formation of fairy chimneys at this spot.

Next, visit Avanos (Venessa), the pottery center of Cappadocia, situated on the banks of the Kizilirmak/Red River. The river derives its name from the red clay it deposits. Here, you can observe the potters at work using kick wheels, a technique that has remained unchanged for generations.

After enjoying lunch in a local restaurant, continue to Goreme Open Air Museum. This site is home to the most significant Byzantine cave churches globally, where monks and nuns pursued monastic life from the 3rd century onwards. Witness the best-preserved Byzantine cave wall paintings and frescos from the Iconoclastic period to the end of Seljuk rule. Icons depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments above portraits of Church Fathers and saints depict the structure of the Byzantine universe.

Take in the breathtaking panoramic view of Goreme valley and Goreme village, fairy chimneys, rock formations, and cave houses from Esentepe. Finally, end your day at Uchisar Castle, the tallest rock in the Goreme region.

After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel by 4:30 pm.
