Begin your day with a delectable breakfast at your hotel, setting the stage for a captivating full-day Cappadocia RED tour. At 9:45 am, your adventure will kick off as you’re picked up from your hotel.

Our expedition commences with an exploration of Devrent Valley, aptly named “Imagination Valley,” where a surreal landscape unfolds before you. The journey then leads to Pasabagi Valley, or Monks Valley, offering a glimpse into the evolution of fairy chimneys. Here, Christian hermits carved their hermit cells and churches into the iconic three-headed pinnacles, symbolizing the Holy Trinity.

Continuing our voyage, we reach Avanos, Cappadocia’s pottery hub, nestled along the banks of the Kizilirmak/Red River, named after the red clay it carries. Witness the age-old artistry of potters using traditional kick wheels, a practice passed down through generations.

A satisfying lunch at a local eatery prepares you for the next chapter of exploration at the Goreme Open Air Museum. This repository houses Byzantine cave churches of paramount significance. Tracing back to the 3rd century, these valleys were once sanctuaries for monks and nuns. Behold the finest preserved Byzantine cave murals and frescos, spanning from the Iconoclastic era to Seljuk rule. The vivid icons portraying tales from both the Old and New Testaments, alongside portraits of Church Fathers and saints, depict the Byzantine cosmos.

Behold the panoramic vistas from the Esentepe viewpoint, commanding an awe-inspiring outlook over Goreme valley and village, featuring fairy chimneys, rock formations, and cave residences. Concluding our day, Uchisar Castle, the towering pinnacle of the Goreme region, awaits.

As the tour draws to a close around 4:30 pm, we’ll transport you back to your hotel, leaving you with cherished memories of a day well-spent in the enchanting Cappadocia.
